Welcome to eProov

eProov facilitates schools to periodically conduct test series including unit tests, cycle tests, class tests, quarterly, half-yearly and revision/model exams for students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Standards in CBSE and Tamil Nadu State Board Schools (English and Tamil Mediums).

Collected answer sheets from the students will be scanned and uploaded into our highly secured eProov Central Server and the answer sheets will be evaluated by eProov certified `Markers’ in our evaluation centre/s using on-screen evaluation technology.

eProov will provide  comprehensive assessment reports identifying the stronger and weaker areas of the students and helping the instructors to find out the chapters / subjects to focus on for each student / group.

Objectives

1. To help the teachers to save time from question paper setting and answer sheet evaluation processes and spend the saved time on teaching/guiding the students.

2. To help the students to focus on ‘weaker’ areas for immediate remediation.

3. Monitoring of students' performance over a period of time which immensely helps them in their exam preparation.

4.Providing qualitative analysis reports useful for teachers/management in accordance with compliance requirements prescribed by Government authorities.

eProov - Assessment From Home (AFH)

A major education initiative to significantly improve the performance levels of school students even during these pandemic times

Introduction

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the student community to adapt to learning through online / video classes from home.  
Though online classes are happening, a proper assessment of the students’ learning levels has been posing a big challenge to the teachers and school authorities. The parents are unsure whether the students have properly understood the various subjects being taught online.
To address this specific concern of the schools, teachers and parents, we at eProov have developed AFH (`Assessment From Home’) solutions for classes 9 to 12 to help the teachers assess the levels of understanding of the students through regular online assessments.

Various types of tests

AFH will include various types of tests like Daily tests, Slip tests, Cycle tests, Chapter wise tests and, Pre-term tests

Objective

To ensure that the students and teachers stay at home and stay safe and yet the assessment of students’ learning levels is maintained at desired levels.

Main components of AFH

•    Students need just a smart phone and no need for a desktop/laptop/tab.  However, students can also have an option to use the desktop/laptop/tab.
•    Students can take up tests ‘online’ in the case of MCQs (1 mark questions)
•    In the case of descriptive answers (2 marks, 3 marks and 5 marks), students will write the answers and take photos of the hand written answer sheets and upload them through our eProov app.
•    Faculty of eProov will carry out ‘onscreen evaluation’ of uploaded answer sheets and the evaluated answer sheets can be downloaded from eProov app.
•    Performance evaluation report for each student will be a power packed one as analysis is done from various aspects. Each question which the student would take is categorised under various parameters to help in better analysis of the performance of students. Typically, there are 5 layers of categorisation viz.

a)    Chapter
b)    Sub-Chapter
c)    Level of Difficulty (Easy, Medium and Difficult)
d)    Bloom’s taxonomy viz. `Skill’, ‘Application’, ‘Understanding’ and ‘Knowledge

•    Student’s performance analysis report will be made available to the students and the teachers/school management would get section/class-wise analysis report.

Process flow of AFH

•    Schools to provide the student details along with Class & Section details.
•    Link for downloading the eProov AFH App will be sent to the school which in turn can send it to each student
•    Students can download eProov AFH app by clicking the link
•    Each student will be given a username and password for `log in’
•    Students can access the online tests through eProov app
•    Students can answer the MCQ’s online and for other descriptive answers, students to scan and upload the hand written answer sheets
•    Uploading of answer sheets to be carried out by the student within a specified time period
•    Students have to upload answer sheets in the manner prescribed in the App (The procedure would be fairly easy)
•    eProov certified evaluators will carry out ‘onscreen evaluation’ of the answer sheets and the eProov system will generate performance report for each student and also the section-wise/class-wise report for the teachers/school management.
•    Teachers/authorized persons of the school management can review the answer sheets of the students online
